Play with your pet and show your Madison pride! Great for tossing and tug-of-war! Durable black nylon material.
The flag of Madison originated in 1962 and was slightly redesigned in 2018. The blue areas represent Lake Mendota and Lake Monona separated by the isthmus between them (the white stripe). In the center of the flag, the black cross symbolizes the four lakes (Mendota, Monona, Wingra, and Waubesa) and also the cross shape of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The original flag was designed by Rick and Dennis Stone, who were members of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, with the help of their color guard instructor.
